Beautiful Boy . . .

Overnight I have become the typical proud mom with a desk at work full of different pictures showing off my beautiful boy, my screen saver is tiled with little pictures of Greyson, my refridgerator, my wallet....have you seen my blog lately?...so you get the "picture" and there are so many of them but never enough! Even before I met Darin, I think I always pictured myself mothering a daughter. Maybe because I grew up with my older sister Kelly and had many cousins....mostly girls! I guess I just never pictured myself with a baby boy. I remember being so excited when Kelly found out she was having a boy...Braxton and then Brayden. I learned so much by watching her and the love she has for her beautiful boys. On Darin's side, his sister Mia's first was a beautiful boy...Evan. My sister-in-law Brooke is anxiously awaiting Hayden's arrival (as we all are) and recently found out from Mia that there may be another baby boy on the way?! I love the beautiful boy that God has given me. I will always cherish the closeness and the relationship I have with my mom but I'm quickly learning there is a special love between a mother and a son. Baby Grey, I can't wait to watch you grow, find your dreams and live the life that God has for you. Right now I enjoy watching your little hands reaching for things, your sweet mouth trying to find words, the excitement in your eyes when I walk through the door and the peaceful smile you have while you're fast asleep in my arms. You are my beautiful boy!
