Greyson's 1st Easter

Happy Easter! This is always a fun time of year as the weather begins to change and feel like Spring. Of course with Easter coming early this year, it hardly feels like it, especially in Michigan. Still I'll put the tiny plaid jacket on Greyson this Sunday with his little white shoes that use to be Braxton's and right now he has to grin and bare it! I love this age. Saturday is the easter egg hunt at church and while I use to go anyway to help, it will be fun this year to watch Greyson as he takes it all in. He is so curious right now and is a "people watcher" just like his mom. I can't wait for next year when he will most likely be running with the other kids picking up easter eggs. I am looking forward to seeing everything for the first time through his big brown eyes. I often catch myself wondering what will he be like....will he love singing like I do? He sure seems to enjoy "This little light of mine" and even holds up his hand when I get to the "hide it under a bushel" part. I can't imagine he won't like sports, he always seems mesmerized when he's sitting like a big boy next to his dad watching some game on television. They look so cute sitting there together...."little Darin" is what comes to mind and what he's referred to most....looking at them, my life feels full and totally blessed!
